Boss Man

Looking at Man’s works, one can’t help but feel a sense of amused understanding, and when you spend time with him, you will find that he emanates the same qualities. Man is a member in his sixties, with a reserved personality; he speaks little and does a lot. However, he always wears his signature smile, with his eyes often turning into two lines of laughter. He has worked hard all his life, and after retiring, the Caritas Art Studio became the place where he embarked on the second chapter of his life. He loves to paint traditional Chinese art and has studied under a teacher for over ten years, creating works that reflect his passions. He enjoys painting colorful Cantonese opera figurines and distinctively outlined characters. However, most of the male and female figures he paints bear the same face. When asked why, he explains that he paints them based on the appearance of his family members. It seems that their images fill his mind, and he and his family also exude a relaxed and comfortable vibe. His colleagues have recognized his talent, encouraging him to express his favorite subjects and assisting him in turning them into finished works. When he discovered that his creations often became bestsellers in the studio, his smile grew even more confident.
